Bill brings over a decade of experience in management consulting, banking, and strategic business planning to The RFP Firm. He has supported organizations of all sizes across North America, Europe, and Asia—developing proposals for clients in banking, education, manufacturing, hospitality, and healthcare.

Bill has managed a wide range of government and private-sector proposals, helping clients secure contracts through clear, aligned, and well-structured responses.

Rushi Amin

Rushi Amin

COO

Rushi has over ten years of experience in public accounting, investment banking, and corporate finance, advising clients across sectors like tech, manufacturing, utilities, and retail. He began his career at EY, where he specialized in audit and M&A financial due diligence before transitioning to private-sector financial advisory roles.

At The RFP Firm, Rushi helps clients build structured, financially sound, and strategically written proposals—leveraging his background to offer smart, client-specific solutions. Whether guiding clients through commercial proposal writing or helping sharpen financials in a contract proposal, Rushi focuses on clarity, accuracy, and competitiveness.

Outside the firm, Rushi is a CPA, a mentor, a business owner, and a board advisor for a Silicon Valley EdTech startup.

Steve Josephs

Founder & Strategic Advisor

Steve launched The RFP Firm after a 20-year career in business development and marketing for both global enterprises and fast-growing startups. With deep experience in government RFPs, federal proposal writing, and commercial contracting, he built the firm to help clients navigate and win in complex bidding environments.

Steve has developed hundreds of successful government and commercial proposals, winning contracts for clients across industries like IT, staffing, healthcare, maintenance, legal, and education. He has helped clients secure awards from agencies such as the US Navy, IRS, DOT, State of California, San Francisco International Airport, University of California, and more. On the commercial side, he’s supported companies bidding to Fortune 500 clients such as AT&T, Johnson & Johnson, Dow Jones, and others.

Steve’s background spans proposal writing, corporate marketing, sales, strategic partnerships, and media. His early work in proposal development for defense contractors and public institutions laid the foundation for The RFP Firm’s proven approach.
